SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES WILL BRING:

  • Minimum 2-3 years prior affordable housing apartment leasing experience required.
  • Strong Compliance experience required with Fair Housing, Low-Income Tax Credit, HUD, Project Based Vouchers, including prior experience on recertifications, lease renewals, managing vacancies.
  • Experience with Section 811, HOME, other subsidy programs a plus.
  • Proficient MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook); accurate data entry skills.
  • Yardi Voyager software skills required.
  • Math aptitude for leasing verifications.
  • Bilingual Spanish-speaking a plus.
  • Excellent customer service skills to interact with residents, prospects, visitors, regulatory representatives, team members.
  • Ability to travel between assigned sites weekly, averaging 2-4 days travel weekly.
  • Reliable mode of transportation with valid driver’s license and valid auto insurance required.

Conifer has an immediate opening for a full-time Floating Assistant Community Manager to service our affordable housing apartment communities, located primarily in Maryland. The Assistant Community Manager will be responsible for compliance administration for housing programs, new leases, lease renewals, recertifications, interims, move-ins/move-outs, weekly vacancy reports and providing support/back-up for the Community Managers and Regional Manager. Will work to minimize vacancies, quickly lease apartments, promote good working resident and public relations, assure program compliance and perform clerical duties as required.

The salary range for this position is $23.00 to $25.00. The actual compensation may vary depending on a wide range of factors, including experience, skills, qualifications, certifications, location, etc. This range also does not include additional forms of compensation such as bonuses.
