Your Role as a Property Director
Join us as we continue to expand our portfolio and build our market presence. Reporting directly to the leadership team, this role is an integral member of the team responsible for leading, managing, strategically evaluating and creating efficiencies at one of our flagship properties.
Property Director Key Responsibilities:
· Operational Management: Oversee day-to-day operations of the multi-family building(s), ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
· Financial Oversight: Manage property budgets, financial reporting, and forecasting. Monitor operating expenses and implement cost-saving measures.
· Resident Relations: Foster strong relationships with residents, addressing concerns and ensuring high levels of satisfaction. Implement programs to enhance community engagement.
· Staff Leadership: Recruit, train, and supervise property management staff, including maintenance, leasing, and administrative personnel.
· Maintenance Coordination: Ensure the property is well-maintained and meets safety standards. Oversee maintenance schedules, repairs, and renovations.
· Marketing and Leasing: Develop and implement marketing strategies with leasing partners to attract new residents. Oversee the leasing process, including applications, renewals, and lease agreements.
· Vendor Management: Establish and maintain relationships with service providers and vendors. Negotiate contracts and oversee the quality of services provided.
· Compliance: Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal regulations, including fair housing laws and building codes. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
· Presentation: Review and present to Miller Group President all operating budgets, financial reporting, and capital improvement plans.

Education and Experience
· Bachelor’s degree in related field (preferred).
· Minimum of 8-12 years of property management experience, with a focus on multi-family residential properties.
· Knowledge of property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
· Certification in property management (e.g., CAM, CPM) is a plus.
